Community Rules

Stego · Last updated 10 September 2026

Stego has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Sending someone a deck containing abusive, hateful, harassing, obscene, or otherwise objectionable material will get your account suspended or deleted.

These rules cover sending decks to other people. Your use of the app itself is covered by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, which you can read at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.

Who may have an account

You must be at least 13 to create a Stego account, or older if the age of digital consent where you live is higher. An account lets other people reach you by username. Stego works fully on a single device without an account, at any age.

What you may not send

You agree not to send content that:

Reporting and blocking

Nothing sent to you is added to your library automatically. It waits in your inbox until you accept it, and you can reject it instead. Every received deck can be reported, and every sender can be blocked so they cannot contact you again.

Reports are reviewed promptly. Content that breaks these rules is removed, and the account responsible is suspended or deleted.

Your decks

Your decks and cards remain yours. So the app can work, you give permission to store, copy, transmit, and display them for that purpose only: syncing between your own devices, delivering a deck to someone you send it to, and reviewing a deck that has been reported. Content that breaks these rules may be removed.

Copyright

Do not send material you have no right to share. If you believe content sent through Stego infringes your copyright, email jonlee174@gmail.com with your contact details, what work is infringed, and enough detail to find the material, such as the sender's username and the deck name. Valid complaints are acted on, and accounts that infringe repeatedly are terminated.
